Warning: scam attempts in BTCX's name

We have noticed an increase in scam attempts where fraudsters impersonate BTCX, both by SMS and phone calls.

Please note:

  • BTCX never sends SMS messages unless they are linked to an order you have placed.
  • BTCX never calls customers claiming that we hold funds belonging to you. We are an exchange and do not hold customer funds.
  • If you receive such a message or call, never share personal details, codes or BankID, and do not click any links. Contact our support if you are unsure.

Government and Law Enforcement Requests

BTCX handles authority requests through our law enforcement portal. The portal replaces other communication channels and ensures that requests are handled securely and only by verified, authorized officials.

BTCX reviews each case and cooperates on a case-by-case basis to disclose information as legally required, and in accordance with our Terms of Use and applicable laws.

Registration can only be completed with an email address from an authorized authority, which is verified and checked. After registration, you can submit requests, track your cases, and access all relevant information in one place.

Requests sent through other communication channels will be redirected to the portal.
