From Life Chaos to the Stage: Bitcoin for Busy Women at Nordic Blockchain Conference

What an incredible few days! On June 18–19, the voices of the future gathered at Nordic Blockchain Conference 2025 at Epicenter in Stockholm – and of course, we were there!

The event is organized by Nordic Blockchain Association, a community-driven initiative that supports innovation and collaboration across Web3, blockchain, and decentralization throughout the Nordic region.

And even though we’re busy women – with kids, jobs, daily chaos and everything in between – we still made time to connect, network, and talk about Bitcoin. Because that’s why we’re here. Together with developers, entrepreneurs, investors, and regulators, we spoke about the future – and made sure Bitcoin was mentioned, celebrated, and brought into every conversation we joined.

We’re doing this together. And Bitcoin needs exactly that: more voices, more perspectives – and more women saying yes to a new kind of financial conversation.

BTCX podcast queens Rebecka Nakamoto and Hani Baloch were there to speak about something that still gets too little attention in this space:</strong>

On the Freya Stage, we held a fireside chat about why we started the Women & Bitcoin podcast, how we found our way into Bitcoin, and why we believe the future of finance needs more voices – not fewer.

We spoke about:

✅ How to build inclusive spaces through stories, representation, and community

There were more women in the room than ever before.
Bit by bit, we’re growing in this space – and we’re here to stay, with warmth, courage, and curiosity.
